We discovered a resort nearby called "Big Cedar". It was gorgeous. We had an early dinner and then explored the grounds. They had waterfalls, ponds filled with fish and turtles, a marina, hiking trails, shops, hotels, cabins and restaurants. Some of the waterfalls spill onto the actual road you drive on....We hiked around the trails and bridges. Later to cool off, we went into a classy restaurant overlooking the cove. It use to be a summer home of a wealthy railroad family, the Wormans. We just ordered the chocolate fondue and pink lemonade. So refreshing....They had live entertainment, a cross between Rod Stewart and Tom Jones??.....We spent all evening there at the resort. Paul and I decided it would be a great place to have a family reunion!
